Broncs force game four in Lumsden on Sunday
Submitted by Gerry on Sun, 03/27/2022 - 00:24
This type of score doesn't happen often in our league...nor does it happen in the NHL often but the fact is it happens. The Calgary Flames scored nine goals tonight in their victory over the Oilers...well so did the Balcarres Broncs in their game tonight. The Broncs led 5-4 after one period and were down 8-6 after two periods. In the the third period Brayden Frank scored and then Justin Bernhardt scored short handed with under two minutes to play. Cory Kosloski scored their ninth goal in overtime to win the game 9-8 and to force a game four in Lumsden on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Tyler Mueller led the way for the Broncs with a goal and four assists. Justin Bernhardt would score twice and there were seven other Broncs that scored....Cory Kosloski, Paul Albers, Tyler Bell, Cody Ellingson, Dustin Minto, Brayden Frank and Tyler Mueller. Kevin DuFour led the way for the Monarchs with a hat trick and two assists. Sam Aulie scored twice for the Monarchs. Other goals came from Brody Luhning, Braeden Adamyk and Torrey Lindsay. The Broncs went 3 for 5 on the power play and the Monarchs went 1 for 2. Now it comes to Sunday evening....
