Welcome to our 50th year of Senior Hockey - October 20th, 2015
Submitted by Gerry on Sun, 05/13/2018 - 03:23
The 2015-16 season opens on Friday, November 13th in Wynyard and Lumsden. The Raymore Rockets will be in Wynyard for an 8:30 pm game and the Strasbourg Maroons will be in Lumsden for an 8:00 game. This is our 50th HHL season. We will be announcing activities happening throughout the season to celebrate.
As with last year we will have seven teams in our league. The Southey Marlins have been granted one more year leave of absence. Each team will play 18 games with the first place team bypassing the quarter-finals into the semi-finals. The other six teams will play a best of three series playing into the semi-finals. The semi-finals and final will be best of five series.
There will be exhibition games scheduled in the next three weeks and we will post games we are advised about on our front page. Look for posters in your community of upcoming exhibition games. As usual you can follow us on Twitter http://twitter.com/HighwayHockey All tweets are shown on our front page so any updates can be found right here without even going to Twitter. The schedule is up and we will be announcing availability of schedules for you to pick up in November before the season starts.
Welcome back and watch for season updates and anniversary happenings on this page.
