The Streak is over.....The Bethune Bulldogs went 51 games....League, Provincials, Exhibition without losing a game.....their last loss was against Watrous in the first round of Provincials on January 29th, 2016 losing 3-2 in a game they actually led with less than three minutes to go. Their last league loss was to the Raymore Rockets on January 20th, 2016 by a score of 9-1.

President's Update - November 13th, 2017

Congratulations Southey Marlins on a wonderful opening night on Saturday evening. Senior hockey is definitely back in Southey. Although the Marlins fell short on the scoreboard, it was a good game, a great crowd and to those involved in getting senior hockey back in Southey, this was a great start. Of particular interest was the program that the Marlins have put together. Thank you to all of the sponsors in that program for helping making things happen in Southey. This was a job well done.

President's Update - November 9th, 2017

The 2017-18 season is here and I'm the first to admit that it hasn't been easy getting here...but we are ready. First I apologize for the lateness of the schedule. We could not agree on the obvious 20 game schedule and we wanted more than 16 games....so 18 it is. It is impossible to make a good 18 game schedule with 6 teams....with 5 yes....with 7 yes. Bottom line is that schedule has been approved and away we go. We will work on getting to the even schedule next year. We have lost two teams.

Fall Meeting

The HHL annual Fall meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 4th at the Southey rink at 7 p.m.

Raymore Rockets 2017 Provincial 'C' Champions

Congratulations to the Raymore Rockets...The Rockets defeated the Delisle Bruins 5-2 on Friday evening in Delisle and won the Provincial 'C' Final 2 games to 1.

Bethune Bulldogs 2017 Provincial 'A' Champions

The Bethune Bulldogs defeated the Wilkie Outlaws 4-2 Friday evening to win the Provincial 'A' for the second year in a row. The Bulldogs won 23 straight games in League regular season and playoffs and eight straight games in Provincials and when added to winning their last 16 games in 2016 that would be 47 straight wins...absolutely amazing...

President's Update - March 20th, 2017

Bulldogs win Game one of Provincial ‘A’ Final…The Bethune Bulldogs defeated the Wilkie Outlaws 8-2 on Saturday evening in Bethune to take a 1-0 lead in the best of three Provincial ‘A’ Final. There was quite a lot of action in the first two minutes as Russ Nielson scored for the Bulldogs just 23 seconds into the game. Within a minute of that goal the Bulldogs were down two and Rory Gregoire scored a power play goal to even the game. 13:24 into the first period Drew George scored on the power play. The period ended with Bethune up 2-1 and leading in shots 14-7.

Bethune Bulldogs 2017 Robert Schultz Cup Champions

The Bethune Bulldogs defeated the Lumsden Monarchs 7-2 on Thursday evening and claimed the Robert Schultz Cup for the third year in a row.
